OB Gyn Ultrasound
Location: OnSite Ultrasound Training Center
  4 Harris Court, Suite C
  Monterey, CA 93940
Time: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm

This is an introductory course to OB and Gyn ultrasound. Most students come with limited experience and are looking for guidance in the basic principles and protocols of obstetric and nongravid pelvic exams. The Gyn course covers: basic transabdominal and transvaginal scanning technique, normal anatomy, common indications, common pathology, and pitfalls. The OB course covers: 1st trimester dating, normal anatomy, 2nd-3rd trimester scanning protocol, fetal heart, biophysical profile, cervical assessment, and pitfalls. Each day consists of morning lecture and afternoon scan lab. You will be able to scan live models at different stages in pregnancy. Our classes are kept small to insure one on one time with an experienced instructor.

There are two options for training sites. You can come to Monterey, California and attend one of our courses held on the dates below or we can come to your facility and train you and your staff on your equipment. We are able to customize the training and focus on your needs using your equipment. We will review your protocols and insure you are scanning under the AIUM guidelines. We can also review your billing and coding procedures to maximize reimbursement. Please contact us for a quote.

Our goal is to offer you the most accurate up to date information regarding OB/Gyn ultrasound. The danger of inaccurate dating can not be understated. We focus on practical applications for acquiring the necessary images for an accurate diagnosis. Please contact us for more information.

A recent participant said:

"Just wanted to say thank you for the great ultrasound training course. The very next day I saw a new prenatal patient and was able (with some small amount of preexisting knowledge) to diagnose a molar pregnancy and she has been seen for surgery and follow up already! – Thanks”
